Our favorite holiday resort for families with children is the fairly new holiday town of Playa Taurito on the sunny south coast. We have stayed here several times and can recommend the 4-star Livvo Hotels Valle Taurito & Waterpark. The hotel offers spacious rooms, great range of facilities and unlimited access to the amazing Lago Taurito waterpark. The second largest water park in Gran Canaria.
Puerto Rico has for decades been known as one of the most family-friendly holiday resorts in Gran Canaria. The large beach is well protected from waves, and there is plenty of space to play in the sand. A really good hotel for families with children is the 4-star Marina Suites, which has a nice view of the marina and a very short distance to the beach. The hotel has many facilities for children and adults, and Puerto Rico offers various water sports activities, a beautiful mini golf course and the very popular Angry Birds Activity Park.

Puerto Rico is undoubtedly the most popular holiday resort for couples. Many return year after year, and each time they look forward to the beautiful beach, the wide promenade and the wide choice of restaurants. We recommend staying at the 4-star adult hotel Marina Bayview, which has a heated swimming pool and a unique view of the cozy harbor and the Atlantic Ocean.
